"Embraceable You" is here!  Our official release date was January 8, 2008.  This second CD is a tribute to the music I grew up with and have always had a passion for.  From the time I was a little girl and danced through Frank Sinatra/Gene Kelly movies, or pretended to be Doris Day or Judy Garland, I have loved this music. 

 It was such a joy for me to have been able to introduce these songs to my daughter Jazzmyn, and to have her debut on our "Embraceable You" CD.  It includes such beloved jazz classics as "All the Way", "Loverman", "Taking a Chance on Love" and "Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered".  I also added a new version of an original song from my personal archives, entitled "Only Mine".  I wrote this when I was sixteen.  It makes me so happy to finally be able to record these beautiful songs and share them with you.  I hope they will make you happy too.  Scroll down for complete song list.  Use link below to hear song samples and see ordering information.

I began performing and creating music very early on in life.  Through the years I've had the good fortune to work with some great musicians including  John Debney who has done several original scores for major motion pictures.  He received an Academy Award nomination for his "best original score" in "The Passion of the Christ".   

In my teen years I performed in clubs, and made several demos, and gave live performances in many venues, including The Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Southern California's Ice House music cabaret and The Hollywood Canteen.  It was while living in Southern California that I had the privilege of collaborating with John Debney, who charted my original song "Only Mine" for me.  He was working at Disney Studios at that point in his career. 

Several years later I moved to the Northern California Bay Area, and with the support of  Doug Burkes, my husband, manager and executive producer, I had the opportunity to produce a CD entitled "Faith in You".  The songs range from spiritual to romantic & family themes and are all my own original compositions.   Thanks to Debbie Sanders, who invested in the project and to all the wonderful musicians and back-up singers, including Pam Stapleton, Brad Stainthorp, Lorna Emata-Goodwin, Michael Delaney and Larry Gill.
